2019-20 Elementary Science Olympiad Day Camps
Camas High School Science Olympiad is proud to partner with Camas Community Education in order to provide monthly Elementary Science Olympiad Day Camps! Students are invited to come learn about science and engineering beyond the scope of in-classroom curriculum through a hands-on approach, whether it be extracting DNA from strawberries, learning about principles of buoyancy or designing structures to use in 3D printing.
Who: all K-5 students, including home-schooled and out-of-district
Where: Camas High School (North Commons)
When: 8:30AM drop-off, 3PM pick-up
2019-20 Dates (all are CSD no-school days except for October):
*Dates are subject to change due to inclement weather.
Cost is $70 per student - all funds directly support students in the K-12 Camas Science Olympiad program. Registrations are due three days prior to the date of the Day Camp. Late registrations will be accepted after the deadline either online, at the CCE office, and on-site the day of the camp for an additional "late fee" of $10.
Register online here (Community Ed --> Science --> ESO Day Camp) or in person at the Camas Community Education center! The registration form must be filled out and returned to the CCE to officially enroll.
We will be introducing Elementary Science Olympiad events for our 2019 tournament at this camp, so if your student would like to be a part of ESO, this is a great opportunity to get them started early this year!
